The New York Historical Society is rapidly approaching the May 13 opening of their Title IX exhibit, “Activism On and Off the Field,” which runs through September 4. In addition, there is a two-case installation on the ERA now on display on the 4th floor just outside the gallery. The ERA display includes the dress worn by Muriel Fox leading the ERA march in Illinois, along with a photograph of the march. The ERA cases are on display through the end of the year.
Special thanks to the Joyce B. Cowin Women’s History Gallery for all their work in supporting women’s history. The New York Historical Society is located at 170 Central Park West (77th Street), New York, NY.
