Author, sociologist/criminologist, researcher, trainer and national expert on sexual assault and gender issues. Consulted with many agencies including the U.S. Department of Justice, the Pentagon and was selected to represent the United States in Italy at the NATO conference on victimization. Co-developed the ground-breaking forensic tool, the anatomically-correct dolls, now used worldwide to interview victims of child sexual abuse, 1976. Heading one of the first all-female law enforcement rape investigations programs in the U.S. Executive Director of Migima, LLC is a criminal justice consulting firm specializing in designing and evaluating programs related to the criminal justice system, gender and sexual violence.
