Tina Turner

November 26, 1939 – May 24, 2023

“Remember that true beauty comes from within, from the positive qualities of your heart and mind. And most of all, be kind. Kindness is beautiful. Out of that will come happiness. And happiness is sexy!”

Singer and actress whose career has spanned more than 50 years. Rock Icon, feminist hero, domestic abuse survivor. The first Black artist and first woman to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. She has won numerous awards and her achievements in the rock music genre have led many to call her the “Queen of Rock ‘n Roll.”
