Educator of English literature and film history. Reporter, book and film critic for the early feminist newspaper, Majority Report, 1971 –1974. Member of the Radical Feminists, 1969–1972. Member of NY NOW, 1971-1980. Editor of the NY NOW newsletter, 1972 –1975. Chair of NY NOW’s board, 1975. Member of the NOW-East End chapter and the East End Gay Organization.
