Activist, philanthropist, fundraiser, producer. Elected delegate, National Women’s Conference, 1977. Producer, NOW 20th Anniversary Show, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles, 1986. Co-founder and chair, Feminist Majority Foundation, dedicated to women’s equality, reproductive health and non-violence, 1987. Co-founder, Fund for the Feminist Majority (a sister organization), 1987. Made a $10,000,000 endowment and gift to the Feminist Majority Foundation, 1991. First program of endowment was to help make mifepristone (RU 486) abortion pill, available to women in the US. Produced live theater in Los Angeles.
