Law Professor. Expertise in the study of law, medicine, ethics and public policy. First African-American woman on the Harvard Corporation, the University’s top governing board. First African-American woman law professor to receive tenure at Georgetown. Former Deputy Director of the Office of Civil Rights and Special Assistant to the Chairman of the EEOC. She also served as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Division of the Department of Justice.
