“It was feminism and humor that made me a cartoonist.”

The creator and writer of the syndicated cartoon strip Sylvia. Graphic artist for the feminist publication The Spokeswoman; it was here that her character Sylvia first appeared in 1976 in the strip “Feminist Funnies.”
