Emeritus Professor, Indiana University School of Social Work. Volunteer with NOW to ratify the ERA, 1975. Served as Indianapolis and Indiana NOW president, elected to six terms on the NOW national board, was state NOW PAC president and served multiple terms on the national NOW PAC. One of the founders of Sojourner shelter for battered women, now Julian Center shelter. Board of the Indiana Youth Group. National Commission on Women for the Council of Social Work Education, IUPUI Senior Academy and Heartland Unitarian Universalist Church.
