Margaret Muth Laurence achieved great success as a trademark and copyright lawyer without a high school diploma, college degree, or formal law school education.
Expert in trademark and copyright law. A co-founder of the National Women’s Political Caucus. Founded Women United, a lobbying group that helped secure passage of the Equal Rights Amendment through Congress. Served as president of the Women’s Bar Association for the District of Columbia. Regional director for the National Association of Women Lawyers.
