Active in business, politics and worked for the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment. A founding member of the Wisconsin Status of Women Commission. National Federation of Business and Professional Women. A leader of the organization, advancing through the Wisconsin and national offices to becoming the National President for 1967-1968, when the organization had more than 170,000 members. Appleton Area Board of Education (President for 7 years). Valley Northern Bank (Director). Goodwill Industries of Northern Wisconsin (Director). Wisconsin Action Committee on Small Business. Fox Valley Chamber of Commerce Small Business Advisory Committee. American Society of Personnel Administrators and Fox Valley Personnel Association. Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Director). Appleton Taxpayers Association (Director and President) and Taxpayers United to Control Spending (Director). Appleton Post-Crescent Woman of the Year for 1972-1973. Retired as Vice-president and Chief Financial Officer of Crane Engineering Sales, Inc.
