“My mother had been suffering discrimination. As a college graduate, she was paid pitifully little as an office manager. I looked at what the organization had done for me (NOW), and I decided that women in banking had made progress only because of the women on the other side.” – Liz Nicolson, 1982

Passionist activist. Joined the National Organization for Women (N.O.W.) in 1982 and campaigned in Illinois and Washington D.C.. Treasurer of the state NOW chapter in Illinois.
