Linda Jupiter

Advocate and activist. A founder of the Bay Area Feminist Federal Credit Union, the first feminist credit union in the U.S., 1974. A mediator for VORP (Victim Offender Reconciliation Program), a constant participant with the Grassroots Institute, a member of the Latino Coalition, the MCJC (Mendocino County Jewish Community) Justice Group, stood with Women in Black for Peace, a long-time organizer of Martin Luther King Day celebration, assisted in Anne Turner’s Citizenship and ESL classes, co-facilitated the MCJC Elders’ group on Zoom, and, with others, fought for years to keep local hospital obstetrics department open. Created Jupiter Productions.
