Joined Philadelphia NOW in 1971, becoming treasurer, then executive VP (1975) and president (1977). Co-chaired the NOW Media Project, 1973. Traveled to Florida for the ERA campaign and handled all press statewide, local and national. Involved in legislative research and lobbying for the ERA and was statewide financial manager for the campaign. Traveled to Washington to handle direct mail for national NOW, and became NOW’s controller, 1982.
