Author, educator and outspoken left radical historian. Taught one of the first courses in women’s studies, Women in America, at Northwestern University in 1968. Published “A College Course on Women’s Liberation” in two newsletters: “American Institute for Marxist Studies,” 1969 and “New University Conference Newsletter,” 1968. Professor Emeritus of History at John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York.
