“I served as the chair of the National Women’s Political Caucus from 1979 to 1981, a time when it was a little easier to be a card carrying feminist in the city of Washington.”

Attorney, Author, Activist. Chair of the National Women’s Political Caucus, 1979 – 1981. National Women’s Political Caucus ERA Fund Chair. Influential in the Democratic party, starting as a volunteer for Adlai Stevenson, developed new coalitions and won party adoption of platform minority planks supporting the Equal Rights Amendment and budget support for abortion access.
