Biologist, educator, author. Expert in the feminist philosophy of science. Co-founded the Women’s Studies Department at Southern Illinois University, 1980. Taught Philosophy of Science, Feminist Theory, Philosophy and Ecology, American Women in Philosophy. Published numerous papers and chapters in philosophical journals and anthologies. B.A. Duquesne University; Master’s, University of Wyoming, Cell Biology; Master’s, University of Illinois, Philosophy of Science; PhD, Southern Illinois University, IL.
