THE VFA PIONEER HISTORIES PROJECT

Clara Fraser

March 12, 1923 – February 24, 1998

“I believe as you age, if you are a political person, or a person who is concerned about the affairs of the earth and about the general welfare and the common good, you tend to see things in broader scope and you tend to be much more global in your views and in your grasp of the significance of all subjects.”

Political organizer, author and activist. Co-founded and led the Freedom Socialist Party and Radical Women.
