Beverley McDonald

December 11, 1930 – February 21, 2021

Committed her life to attacking race, class and gender power structures. Interim executive director of Michigan Legal Services. Selected as a member of the Michigan delegation to the First National Women’s Conference sponsored by the United States’ Commission on the Observance of International Women’s Year, 1977. Executive director of Michigan League for Human Services, 1985, now Michigan League for Public Policy. Appointed by the Michigan governor to serve on the Michigan Blue Cross Blue Shield Board as the Consumer Advocate, 1978.
