Political Organizer and Community Leader. First woman elected to the board of Odessa College, 1964. Regional Director for the Heath Security Action Council in Washington, D.C., 1971. First Executive Director of the Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues, 1977. Founder of the Women’s Research and Education Institute, 1982.
