“When the opposition to the women’s movement emerged, with its scare and smear tactics, I was offended. I felt it was an insult to my intelligence, and I set out to get the facts for myself.”

Housewife, educator and author. Started a local chapter of Housewives for the Equal Rights Amendment (HERA) in Champaign, Illinois in 1975. Author of I’m Not a Women’s Libber, But — and Other Confessions of a Christian Feminist, 1981.
