Poet, author, translator, English professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo and women’s rights activist. A founder of the Buffalo, NY, chapter of NOW. Elected to NOW’s national board in 1970 and served as VP legislation until her death in 1975. First National NOW ERA/Legislative Chair.
