Director of PharmedOut, a project at GUMC, whose mission is to advance evidence-based prescribing and educate healthcare professionals about pharmaceutical marketing practices. Former medical officer at the NIH National Institute for Child Health and Human Development, editor of a continuing education publication on alternative therapies and women’s health and writer for the Reproductive Toxicology Center. Lead author on key articles on physician-industry relationships; expert witness in litigation regarding pharmaceutical and medical device marketing practices. Former chair of the National Women’s Health Network. Joined off our backs in 1981.
