November 25, 1940 – May 15, 2016

“It was such a joy to alert students to the fact that indeed women did have a history.”

Educator, Activist, Author. Helped to develop the women’s studies program at Florida Atlantic University. Research and publications were in the areas of India, Women’s History, and Oral History. South Palm Beach NOW. B.A. Connecticut College. M.A. and Ph.D., Duke University.
