Lifelong volunteer for local, national and global causes. Executive director of the NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund, 1977–1983. Board member of NOW LDEF, 1985–1990. Founder and principal of Clohesy Consulting, an organizational development firm offering a broadband of planning, research and design services to philanthropic foundations and to national and international nonprofit institutions. Founding member of Iowa Women’s Foundation. Founder of See What I Mean.
